GBP/USD sempat berhasil memperpanjang keuntungannya dan menyentuh level tertinggi dalam hampir satu minggu di atas 1.2170 di sekitar 1.2175 pada awal jam perdagangan sesi AS hari Kamis.
Namun pada jam perdagangan selanjutnya, GBP/USD berbalik turun dan diperdagangkan di sekitar 1.2147 dengan dollar AS mulai mengumpulkan kekuatannya.
