Harga emas turun pada awal perdagangan sesi AS hari Selasa. Emas tertekan oleh membaiknya minat terhadap resiko di kalangan trader dan investor, dengan pasar saham global mengalami rebound setelah dua sesi mengalami aksi jual.
Selain itu, postur tehnikal jangka pendek yang negatip dan turunnya harga minyak mentah ikut membebani harga emas.
Emas berjangka kontrak bulan Oktober turun $13.50 ke $1,723.70 per troy ons. Sementara perak berjangka Comex bulan September turun $0.115 ke $18.555 per ons.
