Inflasi di Turki kembali melesat mencapai level 85,5% pada Oktober.
Ini merupakan level tertinggi sejak Juni 1998.
Mengutip Euronews, rekor inflasi tahunan sebelumnya (85,67%) terjadi pada tahun 1997.
Beberapa ahli menilai bahwa inflasi jauh lebih tinggi daripada angka resmi dan telah menempatkan tingkat tahunan pada level 185%.
Melansir CNBC, Institut Statistik Turki melaporkan, lonjakan inflasi dipicu oleh kenaikan harga makanan sebesar 99%.
