Harga minyak mentah dunia mengalami kenaikan pada perdagangan hari Selasa (22/11/2022) waktu setempat atau Rabu pagi (WIB/ waktu Indonesia). Kenaikan harga minyak dunia terjadi setelah eksportir utama Organisasi Negara Pengekspor Minyak (OPEC ) bertahan untuk tidak menaikkan produksinya.
Mengutip CNBC, harga minyak mentah Brent naik 1,2 persen, menjadi 88,53 dollar AS per barrel, sementara harga minyak mentah West Texas Intermediate (WTI) AS menguat 1,4 persen, menjadi 81,18 dollar AS per barrel.
Arab Saudi menilai langkah untuk tetap mengurangi pasokan minyak dilakukan untuk menyeimbangkan pasar. Komentar Arab Saudi terkait hal ini bahkan melebihi kekhawatiran resesi global dan kenaikan kasus Covid-19 di China.
