Dalam proyeksinya, Bank Sentral AS atau Federal Reserve perkirakan Produk Domestik Bruto AS menguat 0,5% sepanjang tahun dan menepis bahwa resesi bakal pasti terjadi. Tapi penilaian bank sentral ini tak sejalan dengan ekspektasi di Wall Street maupun pelaku usaha “Main Street” alias ekonomi riil.
