JPY terdepresiasi untuk sesi ke-11 sebesar 0,4% menjadi 149,90 per USD, level terlemah sejak tahun 1990. Para ekonom di DBS Bank percaya bahwa pasangan USD/JPY dapat mencapai level tertinggi 159,90 pada April 1990.
